Sundown Festival will take place at Norfolk Showground, Norwich, NR5 0TT.

If travelling from the North, Sundown is situated just off the A47, Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 junction (Longwater Interchange).

From the South, when travelling to Norwich via the A11 from London or the A140 from Ipswich, take the A47 bypass westwards.

Please switch off your sat nav and follow festival directional road signage as you approach the festival.

Car Parking

Car Park tickets are not available to buy in advance. Entry to the car park will be £20 for the weekend and £10 for the day payable BY CASH ONLY when you arrive.

Follow the festival car park signs when you arrive. Car parks are approximately a 5-minute walk from the festival entrance.

Please note, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are not permitted anywhere at the festival. You cannot park by your tent and you cannot stay in a vehicle in the car park overnight.

Friday and Monday – Public Cars & Taxi’s

The Pick-up & Drop-off Point for campers on Friday and Monday is located at the bottom of the event car parks off Dereham Road. Please follow signs for Camping.

Saturday and Sunday  – Public Cars

The Public Pick-up & Drop-off for day tickets or campers arriving on Saturday and or Sunday is located just off the roundabout before the Premier Inn. Once dropped off, follow signs and stewards for the event entrance. There will be a full road closure on Dereham Road at the end of the night and on exit you will be directed back along Dereham Road to the Pick-up & Drop Off area. Please follow signs for Day Pick-up & Drop-off.

Saturday and Sunday  – Taxis

The Taxi Pick-up & Drop-off is located just behind the area for public cars in the Day Pick Up & Drop Off area, just off Dereham Road. Taxi companies have been advised that they must use the Pick-up & Drop-off area so please do not arrange to be picked up from elsewhere.

Please note: At the end of the night on Saturday and Sunday there will be a full road closure on Dereham Road plus other Traffic Management measures in place elsewhere. Any vehicles trying to pick-up from outside the designated areas will cause a public safety issue and will be moved on, so please use the designated facilities and do not do not ask for or accept a pick-up elsewhere.

We also ask you not to use the Longwater Retail Park (including Sainsbury’s). There is not a safe walking route and our facilities are quick and easy to use so it’s not worth risking your safety!

Norwich Railway Station is situated 5 miles from the festival.

Shuttle buses run to and from Norwich Railway Station and the festival site on a regular basis on Saturday and Sunday, operated by First Group. More details to follow soon.

Unless you are walking from Easton (which is the village next to the showgrounds) we ask you not to walk to the event on foot as the roads are busy and there are no footpaths, so it’s not safe. We especially ask you not to use Longwater Retail Park to be picked-up or dropped-off; our on site facilities for Buses, Taxi’s and Public Pick-up & Drop-off are well set up and clearly sign posted so it’s quicker, easier and safer for you to use those.
