Age restrictions
Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
No-one under the age of 14 is allowed to camp.
Re-entry
Sundown does not offer re-entry to the festival – except for campers.
Disabled Access
There are disabled facilities on site including:
A viewing platform & disabled toilets.
Public Transport
First are delighted to be providing shuttle buses to Sundown Festival again this year. Festival-goers will have a choice of services to get to the Showground this year.
The X1 Service will provide a direct route from Norwich Bus Station to a drop off point outside the Royal Norfolk Showground or catch the 100 Service, which will operate from Norwich Rail Station via Norwich Bus Station direct to a dedicated stop inside Norfolk Showground. These combined services will operate up to every 10 minutes throughout the Festival. Details of the timetables can be downloaded using the following links:

Cloakroom and cash point machines
There is no cloakroom on-site so travel light.
There are ATM machines on site. The bars will also accept credit / debit cards.
Food & Drink
Customers are not allowed to bring their own alcohol on site due to our strict licensing conditions. We have ensured drinks are reasonably priced at all bars.
Campers are allowed to bring their own food and drink to the camping area only.
No chairs, tables, BBQs or other such articles may be brought into the event site. Soft drinks in glass or cans will not be allowed into the event site.
NOTE TO CAMPERS ONLY: You are allowed to bring alcohol to the campsite on first arrival only. No Glass. You may only bring in an amount that you can carry by hand - no wheelbarrows or by any other method.
Security and Searching
The event security will be thoroughly checking all bags belonging to ticket holders upon entry.
Light & Sound Warning
Exposure to loud music can cause permanent damage to your hearing. Please visit www.dontlosethemusic.com for information on how to protect your hearing at Sundown.
Please note that strobe lights and smoke machines may be in use within event site.
Ticket Touts
We urge you - do not buy tickets from anything other than official ticket outlets (online and in person). For a full list of genuine ticket outlets, please see the tickets section of the Sundown website. Tickets purchased from unofficial sources will not gain entry to the event.
All tickets will incorporate a bar code system that will be scanned on entry.
Tickets
You will receive your ticket/s in form of an e-ticket immediately after purchase. These contain a scannable barcode – this is standard practice to avoid fraudulent ticket copying.
Simply print your e-tickets and bring with you to the event where it will be scanned upon entry. If you are unable to print this off, we are able to scan the e-ticket on your smartphone (Android etc).
Should you not receive them, please contact the ticket agent where you bought your tickets. Please note: There will be no discounted tickets available this year.
What to bring
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, rainwear
- Your ticket
- Proof of ID
- Cash and a debit card just in case (keep it safe)
What not to bring
- Chairs of any sort – there are areas on-site where seating is provided
- Offensive weapons
- Glass, cans, pets or laser pens
- Alcohol of any kind
- Food – there will be plenty of varied food stalls at the festival
